The 2022 race have attracted many key political bigwigs who are warming up to receive the baton from Kenyatta.
The race seems to be very tight between the two horses, Odinga and Deputy Ruto. The two appear to be the frontrunners in the forthcoming race as they roaming the country selling thier political agendas.
Other presidential aspirants that have declared thier bids for the race are: Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, KANU party leader Gideon Moi and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula.
1 Out of the four members of OKA, two Kalonzo and Mudavadi were once Vice President. They might prefer backing fomer prime minister Odinga who is their senior in politics to Ruto who seems to be their age mates in politics.
2. Deputy Ruto being the second in command he cannot back someone for presidency but for himself as the constitution doesn't allow one to deputies for more than two consecutive terms. And the OKA members seems to be very firm in their stand of not deputising ayone. They understand Raila might support one of them but Ruto can't.
