Anne Waiguru Opens Up On What She Wanted To Achieve With BBI, Reveals What President Uhuru Told Her

The declaration by the court that the BBI process was null and void was welcomed differently by different leaders. Some rejoiced while others were very angry. Those who were not contented proceeded to supreme court.

It is for that reason that Kirinyaga governor honourable Anne Waiguru, who was a staunch supporter of BBI has opened up on what was her target with BBI. According to NTV Kenya, Waiguru thought that if BBI goes through, president Uhuru will come back as a prime minister.

However, Waiguru also disclosed that her dream would not come to pass. This is because president Uhuru told her that he is not interested in any position after his presidential tenure.

It should be remembered that Waiguru is eyeing a re election as a Kirinyaga governor. She is determined to battle it out in the most competitive position. This is where women representative Ngirici and NARC party leader Martha Karua will be battling out.
