Sabina Chege Reveals Question She Was Asked Before Azimio Panel, Claims There Was No Interview

Presidential aspirants who have not named their running mates have few days to submit their deputies' names to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) or risk disqualification.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party had started doing interviews for candidates who were fronted by political parties forming the alliance.

One of the interviewees was Murang'a County Women Representative Sabina Chege. Speaking to the press on Monday, May 9, the vocal politician said that it was not an interview but rather a conversation.

She further stated she was asked to prove herself before the panel Oland what she can bring to the table if she is will be lucky to be picked as the Deputy President for Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga.

Others who have since attended the interview include National Rainbow Coalition of Kenya (NARC-K) party leader Martha Karua and ODM deputy party leader Wycliffe Oparanya.
