Court Makes a Ruling Against President Ruto

President William Ruto under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance administration continues to shape and build his 5 years term.

Realistically, several of President William Ruto's allies were locked out of the important appointive seats and many expected to be placed in CAS positions.

The CAS positions were created by former president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018 and the Law Society of Kenya filed a petition to stop President Ruto from appointing them under his regime.

From the reports, the Law Society of Kenya filed a petition to reject the positions claiming that they lack transparent roles in the administration. Additionally, the Law Society of Kenya argued that there was no public participation in the exercise.

Consequently, Attorney General Justice Muturi and the Public Service Commission wanted the Court to throw out the case to allow the appointment of the CAS.

Accordingly, the positions preserved for the CAS are yet to be suspended until the Court makes its final ruling.
