Building bridges initiative narrative is taking twist as the bill proponents, it has emerged reports that they have threatened to withdraw the security of the 5 benches of judges who nullified the document which was expected to go through for a referendum before the general election.
The decision of the 5 judges angered President Kenyatta and the former prime minister who are the co-owners of the BBI which was born through a handshake that happened back in 2018 for the peace of the whole country.
Reports over social media indicate that the remarks made by Rafael Tuju are serious and the lives of the 5 judges might be in danger. "Judges should learn the word 'interdependence' because as soon as they finish a ruling, they need policemen to escort them home." Hon. Raphael Tuju claims.
On the same note, the NARC party leader has blasted the Jubilee party for what they are insinuating about the withdrawal of the security for the 5 judges who declared BBI null and void. Hon. Martha Karua has requested DCI Kenya to intervene and save the lives of judges.
"This is a veiled threat to the judges and @DCI_Kenya @IG_NPS @ODPP_KE ought to be on the alert & @JubileePartyK should clarify whether this veiled threat is the official party position."
