Cabinet secretary for Roads and infrastructure Kipchumba Murkomen has evening today hosted United Democratic Alliance Senatorial Nominee for the Elgeyo Marakwet County, William Kisang in his office.
"This evening Hon. William Kisang the UDA Senatorial nominee for Elgeyo Marakwet County and by God’s grace and the will of the people, our 2nd Senator under the 2010 Constitution called on me in my office." CS Roads Kipchumba Murkomen said.

Kipchumba Murkomen congratulated the Kisang for his win while wishing him well in the upcoming by elections. He has called on the people of Elgeyo Marakwet to rally behind him and support his candidature.

In the hotly contested race, Mr Kisang floored 20 other aspirants to be declared winner by UDA county returning officer Nicodemus Bore after he garnered 28,136 votes beating Tim Kipchumba and Jonathan Tanui.
