A big blow to Ruto and his Tangatanga teammates.

Leaders from the Maasai community have warned the Tangatanga members who are associated with deputy president Dr. William Ruto who are trying to penetrate to the region.

The Member of Parliament for Narok North constituency Moit Alel Kenta, the leader of Maasai community (MCC) Kalena Nchoe and nominated MCA Christine Lemein declared openly yesterday when asked about the region being a stronghold of DP Ruto.

The leaders jointly said that the region supports the handshake which was initiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

The leaders also claimed that the only way to bring peace in Narok county is by supporting the handshake.

This comes at when DP Ruto needs the backing of the Maasai community to his chase for Presidency in 2022. For many years Narok county have been known as the Ruto's stronghold. But the yesterday's sentiments from the leaders from this region will force the Tangatanga team to change the approach.
