President Kenyatta was accompanied by a big team of leaders to the parliament where he was addressing the nation on the achievements of his government. Uhuru mentioned the projects that his government has initiated since they took office.
Deputy President William Ruto was among the top guests in the house together with former prime minister Raila Odinga. A video has surfaced online that has already gone viral of what happened after the President's address as the leaders went to refresh themselves.
The parliament kitchen staff came to deputy president Ruto as they could not hide their joy seeing him. The video shows the DP sharing some moments with the staff. The second in command even went ahead to shake hands with them not minding the Covid 19 regulations.
