Popular Mount Kenya Politician Locked Out Of Raila Amollo Odinga's Running Mate Selection Panel.
Raila Odinga's running mate selection committee has clearly ruled out Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Peter Munya. Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Sabina Chege, Martha Karua, Peter Kenneth, Gideon Moi, Ali Hassan Joho, and Stephen Tarus are among the candidates shortlisted for the running mate position.
Residents of Mount Kenya, particularly those in Meru County, had assumed Peter Munya would be Raila Odinga's running mate. Munya announced his intention not to run for Meru County governor, effectively ruling out three popular candidates: Kiraitu Murungi, Mithika Linturi, and Kawira Mwangaza

Kalonzo Musyoka, on the other hand, claimed that he will not appear on the panel because the interview process is flawed.
