Just In : President Ruto Set To Take Over Powerful Seat Previously Held By Uhuru Kenyatta

The 2022 presidential election suprised many people after William Samoei Ruto won the race, athough the siting president by then didn't not endorse him. Uhuru Kenyatta endorsed former prime Minister Raila Odinga as his presidential candidate.

President William Samoei Ruto managed more than fifty percent of the total votes cast in the country. Athough the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati announced the presidential results, Azimio La Umoja lead by former prime Minister Raila Odinga submitted their affidavit in the Supreme Court but was dismissed due lack of enough evidence to prove any election malpractice. During the inauguration event, President William Samoei Ruto gave Uhuru Kenyatta a regional job to promote peace at DRC, Ethiopia and other countries.

President William Samoei Arap Ruto is expected to take over patronage of the Kenya Scouts Association, previously held by former president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta.
