Martha Karua: Kalonzo's problem is his self entitlement

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Martha Karua has revealed that she has been appointed to make a comeback, power and momentum to the former president, Mr Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Inooro TV's Kirimbi (fireworks) program on Sunday evening, Ms Karua said the remaining time in the General Election was like the last sprint kick "and I am here to help my candidate to clear the finish line and clear the package especially Mt Kenya."

We will defeat Mt Kenya with persistence and perseverance, he added.

Ms Karua is 64 years old and Mr Odinga is 77 years old.

He further added that Azimio will only accept the results of August 9, "provided it has set acceptable standards of honesty."

He said: "They are competing in a free and fair game where the gap separates us as daylight and darkness seem to be the norm."

And if Azimio wins the election, "you don't have to worry that my anger will lead to me leaving Mr Odinga."

He said Mr Odinga was "a political ally of ours and not just a man ... When I speak to Odinga, we have a consensus on the basis of ideas. The implementation of sound ideas requires constructive dialogue and consensus."

He added: "I will fully surrender to Mr Odinga and submit myself to him as the attorney general, I know what the vice president is, duties and boundaries."

He said the constitution was right in the work of the vice president.

"Nothing needs to be changed, we just need a change of character only for the person in charge of the office. The current incumbent (Dr. Ruto) took his dispute to the media and started a rebellion campaign.
