As the elections draw closer it has now emerged that Ruto has a strong plan in place that will help him together with his allies safeguard their votes. According to a report in the Star newspaper, DP Ruto and his camp has started recruiting supporters under the “adopt a polling station” campaign.

The teams that will involve DP Ruto’s supporters will keep vigil at polling stations so that in case of mischief they can raise complains. Ruto wants the teams to be station in most polling stations in the country if not all of them so that he can closely monitor what will take place in the polling stations on 9th August.

Since their fallout with President Kenyatta, Ruto seems to have found himself on the wrong side where he suspects that he can be rigged.
