After being shown dust in the recently concluded Nguu/Musumba Ward By- elections, the Wiper Party leader who is also eyeing 2022 top seat may have finally woke up from his slumber and opened his eyes to face the true political reflection in Ukambani.
Kalonzo has been beating his chest that he still controls Ukambani, yesterday's poll results placed his Wiper candidate at a distant position three behind Ruto's pointman.
Following the massive loss that helped him open his eyes, Steven Kalonzo Musyoka has called for an emergency meeting with his ground lieutenants from the region led by Makueni Senator Mutula Junior.
The trusted source disclosed that agenda of the meeting is to plan redrawing of a grand plan that will shut Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua for good. The meeting will also deliberate on how to keep Ruto off Ukambani.
Kalonzo had hoped to raise his points and stakes in OKA to enable his appointment as the group's flag bearer. But with the results, it has finally dawned on Kalonzo that everything is not okay.
Speaking on the results, UDA chairman Nduya Muthama said that Kalonzo's influence has already gone. Kibwana on the hand said that the results were a clear indication of what was on ground.
