Other than his constitutional duties, President William Ruto will have an uphill task in 2023 in a bid to curtail Azimio La Umoja which forms up the opposition. This is according to by Taifa Leo which has pointed out that Ruto has plans to deconstruct Azimio

According to the publication, Ruto's attrmpt was simplified after former President Uhuru Kenyatta announced that he will resign as the Chairman of this coalition. For this, Ruto will have to face Raila Odinga only together with key foot soldiers more so those from ODM party who have always remained his diehards
Deconstruction of Azimio's might see Ruto to deliver part of his promises easily as well as easy retaining of the Presidential seat come the 2027 general elections. So far, Ruto together with his Kenya Kwanza team have been bagging leaders from Azimio La Umoja one by one in a bid to strengthen their side as they weaken the Azimio
