The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) led by Wafula Chebukati has been speeding up the tallying and verification of from 34Bs from the form 34As and announcement of the results for each polling station across the country.
However, three days later since the voting day, the commission has not yet received 100% of form 34As. This is despite a report from media houses few days ago that the Commission had dispatched choppers to facilitate presentation of all forms to the Commission at the Bomas of Kenya faster and efficiently. According to the latest update made of the IEBC form 34A portal, today at 1803hrs, a total of 46,206 out of 46,229 forms have been uploaded. This means that 23 forms have not yet been availed to the commission from 6 Counties which include Wajir, Tana River, Nandi, Narok, Kakamega and Garissa.
In Wajir County, a total of 595 out of 610 forms have been submitted accounting for 97.54% forms from the area. In Tana River, only one form has not been submitted.
In Nandi County, 927 out of 928 forms have been submitted as well as in Narok where 884 out of 885 forms have been reported and uploaded.
Finally in Garissa, 557 out of 559 forms have been uploaded while the last County which is Kakamega, 1682 out of 1685 forms have been uploaded. Nevertheless, Kenyans are hoping that the commission will eventually receive all the forms, upload them, verify and announce the winner to Kenyans.
