“We Are Tired Of UDA" Section Of Ruto's Rift Valley Quits UDA, Join Azimio La Umoja

A number of Deputy President William Ruto's fans in his home state of Marakwet have defected from the United Democratic Alliance, or UDA, claiming they are bored of the party and will now support Azimio La Umoja.

In a brief video shared by Donald B. Kipkorir on his Twitter profile, one of their leaders exclaims "Sisi tumechoka, Kwanzia Leo, tunaingia Azimio La Umoja!" as the entire crowd joins in unison " Azimio La Umoja, ODM!" Below is a clip from the video.

"My people, Marakwet, abandoned the criminal organization UDA in favor of AZIMIO... As Marakwet and the other Kalenjin sub-tribes, particularly the Nandi, have exploited us as a stepping stone... This time, my people will be seated at the High Table."
