The Kiambu County senator and the senate majority Whip Kimani Wamatangi has today responded to the sentiments of the president of leaving the country to thieves during the Citizen TV's day break show. Wamatangi was in company of the Soy MP Caleb Kositany, MP Otiende Omollo and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
According to the senate whip, the president would no way want to see the work he has done for the citizens being left to someone who will plunder or steal. This comes as a result of the president's words, where he said that he will make sure once his term expires he will leave the country to safe hands.
Wamatangi has further questioned the second in command allies, claiming that every time the word thief is mentioned they becomes defensive. "There is no way a President exiting would want to see the work they have done left to someone who intends to steal or plunder. Every time the word thief is mentioned Deputy President supporters become defensive, let the man fight his own battles #DayBreak."
