Anne Waiguru Calls on IEBC to Stop Vote Tallying in Kirinyaga Alleges a Rigging Plot

Incumbent Kirinyaga County governor Anne Waiguru has called on IEBC to stop Tallying in Kirinyaga County, accusing her opponents of planning to rig the elections. Waiguru who is defending her seat with the UDA Party ticket has posted on her Facebook page, alleging two ballot boxes with marked governor ballot papers had been shipped to Kirinyaga through back door in a bid to rig the elections.

"They Must be Removed and Tallying Stopped" Waiguru demanded in his Facebook statement.

Waiguru is seeking to win a second term in office ahead of incumbent Women Representative and Independent candidate Wangui Ngirici. The race has remained a two horse race after Jubilee and Azimio la Umoja Gubernatorial candidate Senator Charles Kibiru conceded defeat earlier today.
