Kithure Kindiki has faced the wrath of Kenyans online after a post that he made backfired on him. Kithure has been linking some of the economic crisis being experienced in the country to Raila Odinga and the ODM party saying the handshake is what has brought about the current situation.

Kenyans online were however quick to remind him that he was part of the crisis that is currently bedeviling the country. They reminded him that he has been in government for the past 7 years and yet he has done nothing tangible.
Since the fallout between Ruto and Uhuru, some of Ruto's allies have continued to criticize the president accusing him of corruption and also excessive borrowing which has in turn thrown the country into debt. Uhuru has however insisted that his second term is much better than the first when he was with his deputy in government.
