Kakamega County Gubernatorial hopeful Cleophas Malala has been at logaheads with the UDA Senate candidate Boni Khalwale, which has led to verbal exchanges and physical altercations between their followers as a result of Khalwale's open campaign for the ODM gubernatorial candidate Fernandes Barasa.
However all that is over now as Cleophas Malala has expressed unity and reconciliation with the vocal DP Ruto's ally, and has reaffirmed their agenda of delivering Western votes to Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
In a video posted on his official Twitter account, the Kakamega Senator has announced to the people of Malinya that him and Boni Khalwale are one and the same, adding that whenever he is seen, Boni Khalwale is there and vice versa.
Malala said that their division with Boni Khalwale was going to allow their opponents in Azimio to win the leadership of the county. He clarified that since they were both vying for governor, they had to agree to have a single Kenya Kwanza candidate so as not to divide their votes.
Malinya is the political backyard of the self-proclaimed bullfighter, who has in resent past campaigned for Fernandes Barasa in presence of Malala, claiming they were both sons of Mulembe.
