Four days after William Ruto was declared president elect, Justina Wamae, who was Wajackoya's running mate, has come out to congratulate Rutto and Gachagua. In a detailed statement on her official social media accounts, she has thanked their supporters for the good work done.
In addition to that, she has sent the Azimio la Umoja la Umoja One Kenya coalition party leaders a message. She has said that if elections were rigged at the polling station level, the agents would have raised alarm. The fact that they didn't means there was nothing to worry about. That as a future leader, we need to stop bashing our institutions which in turn will translate to inciting the public against them.
She said that Ruto and Rigathi will be leaders for us all and there is nothing to worry about. She congratulated them and wished them well. This comes as Azimio heads to court to dispute the results.
