Ruto in his call to Marimanti residents to support his presidential bid. He criticized Raila as a presidential candidate with no track record of development projects in the county, despite his long years in government as a prime minister.
He warned residents, especially business people and bodaboda riders that should they vote for Raila. He may allegedly close down their business, due to his past remarks against the bodaboda and mitumba business people.
He termed Raila as "mtu wa risasi moja," Asking residents if they will support his presidential bid under the 'hustler' movement or Raila's quest.Which he termed as "kitendawili."
The crowd shouted back at him with "hustler "chants.A response that meant they were in solidarity with his quest.
