Cops nab man for shouting UDA slogans in Othaya during Azimio la Umoja rally led by Martha Karua

Cops nab a man for shouting UDA slogans in Othaya Town during Azimio La Umoja rally addressed by Martha Karua.

During the rally, the Azimio la Umoja leader had asked the crowd to respond 'Azimio la Umoja 'when prompted.

But instead of responding that 'Inawezekana,' the man responded 'UDA'.

It was during this time that the man was arrested for heckling the Azimio la Umoja presidential deputy.

He was later released.

Martha Karua was accompanied by agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya, Jubilee Party secretary-general Jeremiah Kioni, Kieni MP Kanini Kega and Muranga Woman rep Sabina Chege among others.

They rubbished allegations that United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader William Ruto's growing influence in Othaya saying support was shifting towards Azimio la Umoja.

Mr Munya said Ms Karua and him will traverse the country to ensure the Azimio coalition wins support.

Kenyans are advised not to be used by politicians in citing violence.
