Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission via its chairman has finally announced the first batch of 2022 Presidential election results, showing that the UDA Presidential candidate William Ruto is leading with Votes against Raila's Votes.
In his address to the Nation at 6:10 pm, Chebukati dropped a fresh update saying that the commission will be announcing official results in batches after proper and thorough validation, unlike before when he had maintained that they will be tallying all the results received from the 290 constituencies and finally declare the winner of the hotly contested seat.Also, Wafula Chebukati has told Kenyans that they will be giving updates after every 2 hours from now while predicting that the next presser where he hopes the results will have improved.
Meanwhile according to the provision results released by Nation Africa as at 6:30 pm, Ruto seems to be taking an early lead of 50.19 per cent with Raila Trailing with 48.13%.
