The 2022 general election race is worrying many politicians who are warming up for the race as there are tight contests almost in all political posts.
The presidency race of the 2022 poll seems to be very tough as many have come out to contest for this one seat. Among them are: Raila Odinga of ODM party, Deputy President William Ruto of UDA party, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC party, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper party, Gideon Moi of KANU and Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya party.
Since 2018 March when President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga come together through handshake, the two have been very close. In the next year's general elections, Kenyatta have shown signs of endorsing Odinga.
Deputy President Ruto have been very bitter about this close friendship between Odinga and Kenyatta. The second in command felt betrayed by his boss whom he thought might endorse him being that helped him campaign for two consecutive terms, 2013 and 2017.
Of later, Ruto's allies have been telling President Kenyatta to keep off from the next year's polls campaigns as he is retiring. They have even claimed that Odinga must be a Deep State Project being that he is supported by some government officials.
Ruto's Hustler Nation team are afraid of Kenyatta's support for Odinga. Being that Kenyatta is the Head of State and also the kingpin of the Mount Kenya regions when DP Ruto is targeting, they feel that this opportunity Odinga got might make him win aganist their preferred candidate Dr Ruto.
