Esther Okenyuri is a Kenyan politician currently serving as a nominated Kenyan Senator.She was nominated in 2022 by the UDA party.She was unsuccessfully nominated to the Kisii county assembly in 2017.Esther previously worked at the then office of ex-Deputy President, William Ruto as an Assistant Director, Research.
According to trusted sources, Esther Okenyuri played the role of developing concept papers that supported the implementation of technical and vocational and training institutions in all sub-counties in Kenya.
Esther was part of Ruto's campaign team who mostly represented the interests of the youths in the Western-Nyanza region.She is the founder of campaign movement duped 'Women for Ruto'.She is also the founder of Kisii Youth Alliance.
2.Gloria Orwoba.
Gloria Orwoba is a Kenyan politician who currently serves as a Kenyan nominated Senator representing women in the Senate of Kenya, following her nomination in 2022 by the UDA party.She was seeking to be elected as the Bobasi MP in Kisii County during 2022 general elections but she lost in the UDA party primaries.
However even after losing the party nominations, Gloria stood firm and supported UDA Party leader William Ruto's election as the fifth president of Kenya in the 2022 general elections.Before joining politics,She was managing Facebook data network in Denmark.
In 2023 Gloria received international press attention when she was asked to leave the Senate chamber due to an apparent blood stain on her trousers caused by menstruation.She attended a senate meeting in a suit stained as part of her campaign for free access to menstrual products
