President William Ruto has been known to be a social man who associates with people freely without minding their status. This was clearly evident during the campaigns when he humbled himself and walked with all kinds of people. His mannerism of associating with his allies is also unique and it has given him many supporters.
The president on Wednesday made a surprise visit to parliament while the members of parliament were having a meeting and he excited Kenyans by what he did. Ruto had arrived at the ICC to flag of tea products to Ghana when he decided to pay the members a visit. When he arrived he found the members having their lunch and joined them.
What excited Kenyans was seeing Ruto join the queue to be served like the other legislators and parliament staff members. He had a free ticket to go directly to the cooks and get served but he chose to queue like everyone else. This excited Kenyans who lauded him for being a humble man.
