Statistics are continually giving a pinch of hope to Kenyans day after another. Coronavirus has made many people lose jobs among other negative effects. However, the Kenya ministry of health is working hand in hand with other stakeholders to ensure that the health of citizens is maintained.
Recently, the rate at which coronavirus spreads as per the number of cases recorded after every twenty four hours clearly shows that there is light at the end of the tunnel. On Friday April 2nd 2021, the positivity rate stood at 19.1%, 16.5 yesterday. Through the ministry of health officials on 4th April 2021, the positivity rate has now been revealed to be 15.1%.
This has consequently given Kenyans a reason to smile as the figures are observed to be decreasing each day. The more they decrease, the more the curve of covid-19 flattens and eventually moves downwards. This means that in the near future, resumption of the normal operations may commence.
As Kenyans are now boosting to have winning the battle against Covid-19 each day, they should stay put and continue following the recommended directives from the health sector as well as the president. Thus, more encouraging figures will be recorded.
