The Maritime row between Kenya and Somalia came to an end yesterday October 12, 2021, when the ICJ court ruled in favor of Somalia. Following the ruling, Somalia nationals were sent into jubilation as they were happy about the much-anticipated outcome.
However, their jubilation has been short lived as President Uhuru has come out to declare that he will not abide by the ICJ court ruling. According to TUKO, the President has vowed to do whatever it takes to preserve the territorial integrity of Kenya.

Earlier on, the President had been heard stating that not an inch of Kenya will be lost. Kenyans on the other hand who were also angered by the ruling have expressed different opinions concerning this matter.
Majority have stated that it is time to pull out KDF troops in Somalia. Others have stated that the judgement was right but have felt for KDF soldiers who lost their lives fighting in Somalia. Below are the reactions.
