Governor Amason Kingi Finally Breaks Silence After Missing DP Ruto's Rallies in Coastal Region

Kilifi Governer, Hon Amason Kingi, has finally broken his silence after failing to show up in any of the rally that was chaired by deputy president William Ruto in coastal region. UDA party leader and his Kenya Kwanza team had camped in the region for three days. They held rallies in various parts of this region which includes Taita Taveta, Kwale, Kilifi and Mombasa Counties.

According to the report from The Star, Amason Kingi has refuted the claims that there's some differences existing between him and deputy president William Ruto which prevented him from attending Kenya Kwanza rallies.

He revealed that he was away from the region as he had some family issues to attend, and that's why he failed to attend these rallies. He also indicated that deputy president William Ruto was aware of his absence and has promised to fully campaign deputy president William Ruto and Kenya Kwanza team.

"For one week now I have been out of the region so I did not just cancel the Deputy president William Ruto's programme but even my own programme. I have cancelled several county functions because I had family issues to attend to," said Hon Amason Kingi. "I'm not even done as we speak, I'm just here for one day then I return back" he added.
