With only few days left to the next general elections that are usually held after every five years according to the current Kenyan constitution, politicians from different regions of the country Kenya are seen running up and down campaigning hunting votes for their various elective political positions as MCAs, MPs, Senators, Women Reps and Governors ahead of the polls.
The race to succeed President Kenyatta who is currently serving his last term is also not left behind as the top contenders for the forthcoming presidency race are seen to be the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance flag bearer Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga and his counterpart the Kenya Kwanza Alliance flag bearer Honorable William Samoei Ruto.
The two frontrunners are believed to have popularized their political parties in many parts of the country Kenya making them more popular than other presidential candidates who are also eyeing for the top seat in the forthcoming race.
Ruto's KKA camp had again dealt a huge blow after a group of professional and key political leaders led by their patron Dr John Kibosia from Ruto's backyard Elgiyo Marakwet declared their support for Odinga's presidential bid. They also vow to support the Azimio politician Honorable Alex Tolgos in the forthcoming general elections.
The professionals claimed that they only it only Odinga who would help resolve challenges in their region Elgiyo Marakwet especially banditry in Kerio Valley.
This was a huge boost for Odinga's presidential bid especially during this time when the Azimio camp is seeking nation wide support.
