Kalonzo Musyoka named Sankuli as his running mate in the upcoming August presidential race. The wiper leader made his announcement after Kalonzo defected from the Azimio one Kenya coalition After missing out as Raila's running mate. 
Sankuli said that he had no outstanding business with Kalonzo he added that he Was going to host him in Narok on May 16th 2022.
Before Kalonzo chose Sankuli, he had already started his senatorial campaigns in Narok. Sankuli reveals that Kalonzo asked him to choose between his job and his country and asked him what he would choose and without hesitation he chose the country and he immediately opted out of the Narok senatorial race.
Sankuli has pledged to support Kalonzo Musyoka in whatever decision he makes and further explained that Kalonzo has always put the country ahead of his desires.
