If you frequently visit social media pages you must have come across Raila Odinga at some point. He is a politician who is well grounded to be distracted by neysayers. He is currently vying to be next president of Kenya under azimio la Umoja coalition. Many have been doubting education level of Raila Odinga which has been cleared by his tbt photo when he was in college.
According to his biography he went to Kisumu Union Primary School, Maranda Primary and Maranda High School where he stayed until 1962. He spent the next two years at the Herder Institute, a part of the philological faculty at the University of Leipzig in East Germany.
He later received a scholarship in 1965 which sent him to the Technical School, Magdeburg (now a part of Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg) in the GDR. In 1970, he graduated with an MSc (Masters of Science) in Mechanical Engineering where he then returned to Kenya in 1970. According to the photo shared Raila was young during his studies in Germany.
