The Standard Group PLC has broken its silence after is Provisional Presidential tally showed Deputy President William Samoei Arap Ruto, the United Democratic Alliance, UDA party Presidential Candidate leading.
The provisional tally that was widely share in the morning by a section of Deputy President William Samoei Arap Ruto's allies showed that United Democratic Alliance, UDA Party Presidential Candidate had 50.63 per cent while Azimio Presidential Candidate Hon Raila Amolo Odinga had 48.70 per cent.
In the provisional results, Roots party Presidential Candidate Professor George Wajackoyah was coming third with 0.44 per cent as Agano Party Presidential Candidate Hon Waihiga Mwaure stood at 0.23 per cent.
However in their late tweet where the Standard Group tagged David Ndii, Senior Counsel Ahmenasir Abdullahi and S Mutoro said that the tallying of votes is still ongoing and therefore the results indicated so far on their Election results portal cannot be taken as the final position.
