An opinion poll has been conducted by Mizani Africa Limited to allegde who is likely to win the West Pokot Gubernatorial race if election were to be held today.
The race will be a tough contest between Incubent Governor Prof John Lonyangapuo vying under Azimio La Umoja side affiliate party versus United Democratic Alliance Party flagbearer Simon Kachapin.
Another candidate for the race is Nicholas Owon who was deputising Proffesor John Lonyangapuo.
The poll shows that Proffesor John Lonyangapuo is commanding the lead with a percentage popularity of 52.6 Percent.Second in the opinion Poll is Samuel Kachapin of the United Democratic Alliance Party who has a paltry 41.7 percent
Incumbent Governor Prof John Lonyangapuo is commanding the lead with 52.6% popularity rating , followed closely by former Governor Simon Kachapin with 41.7%
Nicholas Owon has a percentage popularity of 3.2 Percent while 2.5 percent were undecided on who they prefer
