Mount Elgon Member Of Parliament Makes U Turn A Year To General Elections
Mount Elgon Constituency has for many years not been developed and it has remained with many leadership issues that for many years been trailing back the development of the place. However things are about to change as the area Member of Parliament Hon Fred Kapondi Has Finally waken up and started working towards bettering the Mountain.
Hon Fred Kapondi has started doing what according to the residents a u turn as least expected from him. The member of Parliament has started building classrooms, developing hospitals and also roads. The most recent development was that of him distributing A million shilling cheques to three schools in the constitutituensy.
The residents have been wowed by the move by the member of Parliament as they are finally reaping what they sew in 2017 for electing him as their member of Parliament.
However, some member of public have come out to condemn the changes and termed it as a political move given that 2022 General elections is around the corner.
