Speaking today after receiving UDA party certificate for Nairobi Gubernatorial Seat, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru exuded confidence that she was going to win the by election. Being the first borns of the party, she said they were lucky to be considered as UDA candidates.
The Bishop pointed out that their opponents were already fearful of her and that was a clea r sign they were going to win. She added that her opponents had already started their shenanigans but noted the rule of law will prevail. She hoped that the justice system won't be misused to deny nairobians good services.
In Nairobi she added that they were not ready for shortcuts, chaos and sideshows and that what people needed was a by election. The Bishop told those that were ready to compete with her for the seat, to be ready to square it off with her when she starts campaigning.
Margret insisted that those who thought they were going to become Nairobi governor without sweating, they were damn wrong. She told them that they were not going to become the governor through backdoor. She also noted it was not the first time she had given a shot at it and thus she knew how to package herself.
If ODM party indeed are afraid of her after her unveiling today, then it will be easy for her to win the coveted seat for the UDA party. In the event this happens, one man in deputy president will stand to gain as he continues building his momentum for 2022 election.
