Ruto Garners Many Votes in Gachagua's Backyard

You cannot analyze Kenya's present day politics without Rigathi Gachagua's name cropping up and taking portion of your political tirade. The name bearer is among the four presidential running mates whose chances of becoming Kenya's second Deputy President look practical and probable.

Now that IEBC is on the tallying and verification phase, will the outgoing Mathira Member of Parliament's dream of becoming William Ruto's heir come to pass? Well, 'former' Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri strongly believes so.

Through his official Facebook page, Mr Rigathi as Kenya's second deputy president. Preliminary results from Kenya's electoral body shows that the statehouse race is two-horse race pitting Kenya Kwanza leader and his Azimio party counterpart.

Ruto is banking on Mt Kenya factor, his much publicized Bottom-Up economic model, hustlers vote and Kenya Kwanza workforce. On the other edge, Jakom is capitalizing on Azimio workforce, Mt Kenya vote and support from his traditional fan bases. Now that the poll exercise is on it's last phase, will Ngunjiri's pro-Gachagua prediction come to pass.
