"This Must Stop," Angry Raila Breaks Silence After ODM's Victory in Bonchari, Slams Uhuru's Gov't

A seemingly angry Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga has finally come out to angrily break his Silence following the recently concluded By-election in the country where ODM floored UDA and Jubilee to win Bonchari polls.

Taking to social media site Twitter and Facebook, Raila Odinga was far from happy despite the huge win in Bonchari. He says that elections are an opportunity for kenyans to make a choice at the ballot. However, he says that elections should not be used to pursue other ill motives and political interests.

He says that the national police service has abused its powers in Juja and Bonchari electoral units and arrogantly displayed a high level of impunity by some overzealous and bellicose government functionaries.

"What we have witnessed in the by-elections in Bonchari and Juja is an abuse of police powers and an arrogant display of IMPUNITY by a few overzealous and bellicose government functionaries,' he said.

The ODM party leader further said that the peace that has existed after the 2018 handshake agreement should not be taken for granted.

"The peaceful co-existence post-2018 must NOT be taken for granted by some rogue elements wanting to confuse the HANDSHAKE for an excuse to ERODE our hard-earned liberties! This must STOP!" Raila said.
