There was a dramatic moment today at the Kenya Ferry in Mombasa today after a man caused chaos that had temporarily blocked the work at the Ferry. The man who allegedly said that the Kenya Ferry had changed the mode of payment for motorists and other vehicles was protesting for the same claiming that new methods do not favour everyone. The man protested by blocking the entry of the likoni by vehicles and other motorcycles claiming that Kenya Ferry had adapted a cahshless system to recieve payment. According to him, all the motorists and other vehicles should be allowed to pay using cash unlike the new system which had been adapted to force a cashless system to run the payment.

The man was forcefully whisked away by the Kenya Navy who are tasked to man the area. The incident happened live on television where he forcefully carried away while talking to KTN news reporter. The shouting and other dramatic moments were witnessed as the man tried to resist arrest claiming that there is no way his arrest was done by Kenya Navy rather the police as it is always the case. Details on what might have happened to the man afterwards is not known.
