"I don't Have Any Problem With Ruto, Atwoli Says, Weighs Out on Fall Off BBI

Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli has stated that he does not hold any grudge or does he have any problem with Deputy President William Ruto.

Atwoli who has been seen to drum up support for the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's presidency argued that Ruto will not win the top seat in 2022, owing to his 'chest thumbing,' early campaigns and rhetorical theatrics.

Speaking on KBC Channel One on Wednesday, Atwoli stated that Ruto will be elected in future, but not in 2022, adding that his differences with Ruto emerges only in his manner of politics and does not have anything personal.

Atwoli however expressed his regrets after the Court of Appeal upheld judgement by High Court that BBI was unconstitutional.

He alluded that if the additional positions in the Executive as proposed by BBI would have resolved to bring peace, then it was the best route to take.

The renowned Trade Unionist claimed that Mount Kenya Region sands as the most losers following BBI ruling, owing to the additional constituencies, ward funds among other proposals.
