Gideon Moi Left In A Limbo As His Elder Brother Allegedly Backs DP Ruto's 2022 Bid

Deputy President William Ruto seems to have gotten an upper hand in the Rift Valley region kingpin position race. This is following a move by a key member of the Moi family to support Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 bid over Gideon Moi.

To start with, the Rift Valley region spokesperson position was left vacant following the death of former President Daniel Toroitich arap Moi.

Deputy President William Ruto and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi have been battling on who is the right leader to be granted this seat, a tie that is set to be broken in 2022 general elections whereby the leader between the two who will emerge with a top seat will be crowned

Deputy President William Ruto currently has an upper hand after Philip Moi, Gideon Moi's elder brother allegedly backed his 2022 presidential bid. This comes months after Gideon Moi was handed over his father baton, alias "Rungu ya Moi"
