Babu Owino Reveals Why He Would Have Been Forced To Resign As Lawmaker If Raila Won Elections

Embakasi East member of National Assembly, Babu Owino has now claimed that he would have resigned from being Embakasi lawmaker have Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader, Raila Odinga won the August 9th General Elections.

The Odinga loyalist who managed to be re-elected in Eas Embakasi constituency revealed he would have been operating from a completely different and great position in Raila-led Azimio Government.

Owino proposed two Cabinet slots that he would have had; Education and Interior CS slots which are currently occupied by Machogu and Kindiki following President Ruto's win.

"Personally, I knew that I would not be sitting in this office today. Right now I would be serving Kenyans at a different level as a Cabinet Secretary either for Interior or Education but look at me now," he said during an interview with NTV.

Owino also alleged that Azimio/OKA had a great chance to win the elections however heavily depended on immediate former President Uhuru's efforts for victory something that worked against them.
