Kenyans Left Talking As Uhuru Is Urged To Continue His Silence On Ruto's Victory By Philip Kisia

Prior to the August 9th 2022 general election, the relationship between outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta and that of President elect William Ruto was very bad. The two leaders spent much of their last days fighting each other to the point that Uhuru claimed that he won't hand over power to a thief referring to Ruto.

Too bad to Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto was declared by IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati as the President elect but to the surprise of many, Uhuru has until today not yet broken his silence to either congratulate William Ruto, agree with the presidential results or reject the presidential results.

In the midst of all that, today Kenyans were left talking after President Uhuru Kenyatta was urged to remain silence on Ruto's victory by Philip Kisia. While speaking to TV47 Kenya, Philip Kisia claimed that Uhuru's decision to keep quite is good because his sentiments can either destroy or build the nation.
