City Lawyer Accuses Raila Odinga For Neglecting Wanjigi for Political Leverage

The chairman of the senior counsel committee bar Ahmednasir Abdullahi has weighed on the arrest of Nairobi businessman Jimmy Wanjigi.

Abdullahi has taken a swipe at the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga accusing him of being silent amidst Wanjigi's state harassment.

"Why is Raila silent and afraid of commenting on the tribulations of his friend Jimmy Wanjigi" stated Abdullahi.

The outspoken lawyer who is the fiercest critic of Odinga has asked the ODM party to take full responsibility for the deteriorating state of the rule of law and abuse of human rights in the country.

"The state is doing this to boost ODM chance at the ballot" claimed Abdullahi.

Wanjigi who is said to have been a former ODM party financier and a close friend to Odinga has since surrendered to police after an 18 hour siege at his Kwacha Offices in Westlands Nairobi area.

There has not been any statement from the Orange party however we shall be following this developing story incase of any changes for more updates.
