Joho and Nyali MP Mohammed Ali Opposed To Coastal Unity Which Has Remained Elusive

Details from the coastal city of Mombasa have revealed that party politics and affiliation to Ruto and Raila are the reason why the call for coastal unity have continued to be elusive despite calls to have a common party for the coastal region.

It has now emerged that Nyali Member of Parliament who is a strong Ruto ally is opposed to the move claiming that such statement is what has led to the marginalization of the coastal people for years now. He urged that the region should thing outside the box.

On the other hand Raila Ally and Mombasa Governor who is eyeing the country’s top seat also thinks that the move is ill informed and that the region should not have a regional political party but rather a strong bargaining power for the coastal people. This now leaves Kilifi governor Kingi with few options since he was the brain being the formation of a regional outfit.
