The new Cabinet Secretary for roads and transportation Hon Kipchumba Murkomen promised to unveil the contract of the Standard Gauge Railway SGR after he assumed office.
On Sunday, November 6, the former Elgeyo Marakwet County Senator unveiled the contract on his official Twitter page saying that he has another copy of the form that he will submit to the majority leader in the Senate and Parliament.
However, this news landed them in hot soup after one of the Azimio leaders made a revelation. Raila Odinga's spokesperson Makau Mutua has taken to his official Twitter account platform to make the revelation.
According to Mutua, during the signing of the SGR, Dr. William Samoei Ruto was the Deputy President of Kenya, and also during campaigns, he was proud of building the SGR.
In addition, Kipchumba Murkomen was the majority leader in the Senate. Aden Duale was the majority leader in National Assembly. Henry Rotich was the CS for the treasury. What is your view on this? Like, comment, and share the article.
