Bomet County MP Strongly Condemns Langata MP For Alleged Corruption And Tribalism

Sotik member of parliament Dominic Koskei has condemned his colleague Langata constituency MP Nixon Korir after an alleged list of bursary beneficiaries in his constituency was shared on social media. The list which has caused uproar showed one ethnic group being beneficiaries raising concern and how amongst the public. 

The authenticity of the document is however yet to be determined, Langata MP has not responded to the allegations.

In his take, the Sotik MP said, Korir was corrupt and a tribalist. He claimed that the take by Korir was to please deputy president Wiliam Ruto. He further accused him of trying to bring down the hustler agenda that had attracted national advantage to a one-tribe initiative.

"Here is my fellow member of parliament Hon Nickson Korir awarding non-Langata constituents Kalenjins bursaries to please his master. Hypocrisy will end soon. This way of bringing down hustler narrative to a tribal-based narrative," Koskei said.

The hustler nation MP has received wide criticism from many people online, in the list also it was noted that amongst all the beneficiaries all we're students of Cooperative University leading to the question of how no other students from other institutions qualified for the bursary. Among those who have come out to condemn the MP are bloggers Abraham Mutai and Robert Alai.

"What are the odds? Does it mean Kalenjin voters of Langata Constituency happened to have sent their children to the same University? Hakuna hata wa KENYATTA University? ," questioned Mutai.
