From the attendance it is possible that the deputy president William Ruto might be forced to resign as the dp before impeachment motion is tabled against him.
Going by the numbers in the meeting,if an impeachment motion is presented in the parliament Ruto could be voted out, that is if only the people who were in Karen were the only ones to stand with him.
There are a total number of 416 members in the national assembly and senate houses. If 139 members stand with Ruto it means that 277 members will vote to impeach the deputy.
Maybe he called the meeting at his Karen residence to weigh on the outcome incase impeachment motion would be tabled as some leaders threaten.
It would be wise for him to resign before he is impeached.
