Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has once again threw his weight behind the amendment bill (BBI). The former legistlator has been fully behind the BBI initiative brought forth by the handshake principals president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

Kabogo who seems enthusiastic about the document and popularising the document in Mt Kenya, has now come to it's defense after claims of the handshake being under siege yesterday. Kabogo addressed the issue through his twitter handle where he said he saw no need of politikin around the handshake rather leaders should focus on the BBI agenda.

He wrote; Taking a drive to Meru at the same time wondering why people are so busy talking succession and hand shake. Handshake has an adult child(BBI) let’s deal with the child and further unions, divorces and or marriages can come later. https://t.co/JAZmQanH5h

The ODM wing has been threatening to come out of the handshake deal if PS Karanja Kibicho and his allies continue engaging in the national politics. Whether the handshake stands the test of time is only but a matter of time.
